During this seminar executives from Oxford University Press and Macmillan discussing new opportunities for rights sales and how to best management them. The speak from OUP focused on marketing rights to new media while the Macmillan speaker focused on how they managed the rights that they purchased. The executive from Macmillan stressed the importance of avoiding any custom modifications to purchased software.
In a later segment rights and royalty managers from Candlewick, Penguin Random House, and Wiley discussed how their houses managed rights and the systems that they used.
